3D Thursday: Sweet Talk Mailbox for Valentine's Day

It seems like we have barely gotten through Christmas, and New Year's Eve is tomorrow!  Can you believe it's ALMOST 2022?  It seems crazy to think that it's time to start thinking about Valentine's Day, but as crafters, we are ALWAYS thinking a few months ahead.

I have a cute altered 3D project for you today, featuring lots of new products from our upcoming Mini Catalog!  It goes live on Tuesday, January 4, along with our Sale-a-Bration promotion!

My project started with a paper mâché mailbox from Hobby Lobby.  The measurements on the bottom are listed as 7" x 5.5", but the instructions that I created can easily be modified to fit any similar mailbox you have.  Simply use your mailbox as a template, as I did.

I love that you can personalize this so that a special little person can use it to hold their valentines!  I think my granddaughter, Ava, is going to love this.

Another fun detail is that you can use the same supplies to whip up some adorable coordinating valentines!  The scalloped rectangle is just the right size for classroom exchanges, and the die cut hearts look like a cute little postage stamp!  The back can be used for a short note and for your child to sign his or her name.
