The 3D Thursday Design Team is back from our summer hiatus with not one,
but EIGHT new projects for you! We have each created a project in our own style
that uses our Embossed Treat Bags from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.
Although we all used the same product, our projects look completely different
because of our personal stamping styles and the additional supplies we chose.
These are so incredibly versatile!
I also wanted to showcase one of the offerings from our new Perfect Partners promotion:
our brand new Piggy Dies!
This die set is one of SIX NEW DIE SETS that are available starting today...
and only through September 30 (or while supplies last!)
The Piggy Dies coordinate with the adorable stamp set called This Birthday Piggy,
which is also from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.
This set is a "MUST HAVE" if you like cute critters
and if you have our past piggy set called This Little Piggy.
These are the same piggies, just birthday-style!
To highlight the embossing on the treat bags, I used my Blending Brushes with Crumb Cake and Pool Party inks. It's such a fun background technique when you have an embossed background!
I stamped the piggy on scrap Basic White with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. (This is the ink that you will want to use with any alcohol markers, such as our Stampin' Blends Markers.). Then, to make sure that the black ink was completely dry, I hit it with my heat gun. This is key to making sure that your black ink doesn't run when you color with alcohol markers!
Stamps' Blends Marker Combos:
Crumb Cake
Daffodil Delight
Petal Pink
Pool Party
Smoky Slate
I also used the Color Lifter to create highlights on certain areas for depth.
I was so happy with the way this piggy came out!
I'm going to have to create more projects with these piggies this month...
they're just so adorable!
For the sign, I stamped the sentiment with Crumb Cake ink
on a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock and die-cut it
using the sign die from the Piggy Dies.
I added a loop of Crumb Cake baker's twine from our
Baker's Twine Essentials Pack and a "nail"
using one of our Brushed Metallic Adhesive Dots.
The piggy and the sign are both attached to the front of the bag
with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Then, to add just a bit of sparkle,
I used some of our Fine Sparkle Adhesive Backed Gems.
These are one of my current favorites because they are quite flat
and they have the sweetest color combo.
Just looking at the package makes me happy!
I hope you love this project as much as I do!
