February is the month of LOVE!
It's not just about Valentine's Day...
it's important to celebrate love EVERY DAY
and with EVERYONE who is special to us!
Today, we're celebrating those specials friends in our
14 Days of Love!
I have the best friends ever. Seriously.
I wanted to create a beautiful friendship card
that included the word "love" in the sentiment.
I found the perfect sentiment in the
Garden Wishes stamp set, but the images weren't
exactly what I had in mind. I kept looking at the stamps on my shelf,
and the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set jumped out at me!
This stamp is one large stamp with 6 butterfly images and no sentiments.
It was a perfect choice to pair with my sentiment!
But the part I love most about this card is the stamped DSP.
I stamped the butterfly image directly onto my
Heart & Home Designer Series paper.
I used my Stamparatus and StazOn ink.
Then I added a hint of color to my butterflies
using sponge daubers and a few soft ink colors
(Misty Moonlight, Pale Papaya and So Saffron.)
Look at the way the woodgrain peeks through...
I love it!
Finally, I stamped my "love" sentiment
with Misty Moonlight ink and used a stitched label die
from the Potted Succulents Dies.
A swirl of Pale Papaya & White 1/2" Woven Ribbon
finished it off!
Thank you so much for popping by today
for my 14 Days of Love series!
I hope you love this project.

This is a beautiful card! I also love the way the wood grain shows through. Another great idea!
